Takeuchi’s rich history dates back to humble beginnings in 1963. Founded by Akio Takeuchi in the small town of Sakaki, Nagano, Japan, Takeuchi would quickly become a leader in the global marketplace. In 1971, Takeuchi set the stage for innovation & originality by introducing the first compact excavator to the North American region. Takeuchi Manufacturing would continue to pioneer by presenting the first compact track loader in 1986. Takeuchi developed a global circle of influence & performance with subsidiaries in four renowned countries (United States, China, France, & the United Kingdom). Since its inception, Takeuchi continues to innovate & provide functional & efficient solutions to customers around the world.
